Swallowed my foot
I was staring at the sky
She was hiding in the woods

Just standing outside
Having my lone cigarette
As she flashed through my mind
From a complicated net

She jumped in the scene
From a time not mundane
From a matter sucking closet
From an intangible frame

The night that slug

I was just smoking outside
She was coming out for food

No knowledge of scale
She just ate her way across
Like a serpent eats its' tale
And a dog hunts its' own arse

She was heading all upfront
Like a hard plastered vein
And I vivified Laocoonte
(Hold that weight and do sustain)

The night that slug
Swallowed my foot
I was feeling quite alive
She was coming back for good

I was getting to a point
Where everything got to a blur
But she kept on moving forwards
(Brought my head-thoughts to a swirl)

It was all happening so quick
That when I'd realized
There she was on top of me
I wasn't feeling that alive
